A little about me.
Hi there. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of post-graduate experience. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a Mental Health Specialist at McLean Hospital and as a Research Assistant at the Harvard Study of Adult Development. I then completed my Masters in Science and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the PAU-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium.
Professionally, I’ve worked as a Staff Psychologist and Training Director at Santa Clara University’s Counseling and Psychological Services and later as a faculty member at San Jose State University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. In both institutions, I was heavily involved in training the next generation of psychologists.
I have experience working with people of different backgrounds on a broad range of issues from depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, family conflicts to helping people make more sense of themselves and their pasts. I have treated people from a broad range of socioeconomic, cultural, and racial backgrounds as well as people across the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
